Adolph Anderson
Adolph was born in Oakland, Nebraska in 1902. He moved with his family to Bellingham and then to Ferndale before his father Olaf, bought a 60 acre farm near Birch Bay in 1922.

It was to this farm that Sigga moved after her marriage to Adolph. Adolph's mother and father lived there until their death, as did his brothers and sisters for a period of time.

Sigga's mother, Maria Finnson also lived with Sigga and Adolph and their family for several years following the death of her husband, Pjetur.

Prior to his marriage to Sigga, Adolph worked in a logging camp near Arlington along with several other men from Blaine. But the hard work of dairy farming was Adoph's primary occupation. In addition, in order to support his family, he worked as a carpenter, sometimes living off the farm for a brief time while Sigga and the children took care of the cows.
