Our parents loved having people over, especially their children and grandchildren. Sunday was the day we gathered with them and our sisters and brothers. As we left to get married and have our children and make our own homes we never forgot that we were welcome and expected to come over for Sunday dinner. Those were the good old days when families didn’t move too far away from each other. We all had a good support system in case we needed help, as we often did, and they were always there for us. We are still a close family and love to gather together for birthdays, sister lunches and special occasions.

I would like to thank Rob Olason for the wonderful job he did on the Steinie Finnson branch of the family. He has spent many hours on this endeavor, and I am thrilled with the result of his labor. Thank you cousin Rob, I will be eternally grateful!!
